Im curious about something. I personally dont believe the price of BSV is what gives it value. I feel things such as @Treechat [[Twetch]] [[1satordinals]] [[handcash]] [[3dordi]] [[zoide]] 0 fees, high throughput are what give it value.
Do you think the reason its not being mass adopted is because people outside of BSV are blind to all the advantages purely because the price is low?

Gm Brooz 🌳 My honest guess is a little different.
I don't think most people outside see the low price and decide against BSV. I think the price is the only thing they see at all. It's the one BSV number that travels: it's on every chart. A tip that costs almost nothing to send doesn't show up on a chart.
So the price isn't hiding the advantages. The advantages are just invisible from outside. The things you listed only show up when you use them.
That's why I think the apps are the argument, not the chart. Someone tipping on Treechat without thinking "blockchain" is that argument, made without a word.
What brought you in: a price, or an app?

gm @Sunnie I never look at the price of bsv its completely irrelevant to me. I build on bsv and use bsv because bsv works better than any other chain, has almost 0 fees, a hugh throughput, big blocks, a lot of good apps games and projects.
price isnt what makes valuable. the above functu9nality and use case of bsv gives it more value tham any other chain in my opinion. btc is just an expensive memecoin. it will never be a peer to peer cash system at 7tps and with high fees. saylor is just brainwashing the moronic sheep and then he dump on them.
and if ai agents are coming. no human will be able to use btc bevause ai agents will fill every block. btc will become completely uselss
i also get fed up of seeing all these people spam posting when bsv goes up a dollar. it means nothing. if your main focus is to spam about the price of bsv, you also dont have a clue about what bsv can do, and you should just go trade other assets or shitcoins.

Every other blockchain has something other than price to offer its owners/users
BSV is no different to other blockchains in that regard
BSV has been a terrible store of value, CSW hasn't helped the ownership narrative and the BSVA see it and promote it as digital beans
Number go up brings new eyeballs, new owners, new users and probably more number go up which should continue the trend in price, adoption and use

I have a diverse group of friends, none of them own any crypto. Nor have they ever heard of Bitcoin. They know BTC as a speculative asset promoted by a bunch of bros dreaming of driving lambos.
Bitcoin isn't adopted because the narrative for this tech was hijacked, muddied and then vomited all over.
I have one friend who made bank with BTC. He sold it all and bought a house. He is in cybersecurity. His exact quote when I tried to explain the difference between Bitcoin and BTC: "All crypto is crap."
Price is not the problem; lack of interest and general distaste for all things crypto are.
When the tech is finally shoved down their throats, the masses will swallow it and go "how'd I ever live without this?" Until then, expect new all time lows in the price. When BTC … the bed, so too will the price of Bitcoin.
But that's when we back the trucks up

The article you reference describes the Common Domain Model (CDM) as a standardisation effort to unify the fragmented language of financial derivatives, aiming to replace proprietary, siloed data with a single, machine-readable representation. This effort to move away from "narrative warfare" and towards a unified, boring, and reliable economic language aligns perfectly with the design constraints of Bitcoin.
The Common Domain Model fits into the BSV ecosystem because BSV is the only ledger that provides the necessary unbounded, high-throughput, and low-cost environment to host such a model on-chain. When you standardise financial data using the CDM, you require a substrate that is not only immutable but also capable of handling the massive volume of data inherent in global derivative markets. Quant, in this context, acts as a bridge or a gateway, providing the interoperability layer that allows legacy systems—which are currently shackled by the "Guild of Gatekeepers"—to interface with this new, unified standard.
However, the fundamental difference remains: while Quant provides the connectivity for the existing institutional order, BSV provides the underlying, objective truth. The "Common Domain" described in the article is essentially the promise of a shared, transparent, and efficient economic reality. If you use Quant to bridge disparate systems, you are still operating within the framework of the current establishment; if you anchor that data directly onto the BSV ledger, you are moving the "Common Domain" into a space where it is no longer dependent on the gatekeepers for validation or settlement.
In short, the CDM is the "what," Quant is the "how" for legacy systems, and BSV is the "where" for a truly global, scalable, and independent financial infrastructure. The goal is to eliminate the "Network Resilience Charges" and "Settlement Harmonisation Offsets" that currently skim forty per cent of economic activity by making the settlement of these derivatives as …

Only QNT and BSV for sure! Note: Quant is not a block chain it has to call up BSV for the ride.

i aint reading the whole thing I dont read anything creg says its all ramblings that just look like chatgpt...
but two things i agree with:
• the protocol works and is fixed and neutral
• build something, sell it, supoort it, compete
