Fair enough @RES, so easy to misunderstood when things are written down & you're not speaking face to face. Over years & years of me doing that, from the age of letters in the post, to memo's at work, to text messages, to email, to social media, I've gradually learned to be more aware how easily I can do that. But I still often have a knee-jerk response & only later realise there's maybeba different way of seeing something.
As you may have seen from my posts, I do have some very strong opinions about some things, as I'm sure you do - and rightly so.
But please know that my bluntness - or even polemics & mockery on occasion, are always directed at harmful ideas or abuses of power & trust, never at people as individuals.
There's so much that could & probably needs to be discussed regarding peoples, ideologies & politics, etc... Yet people are so isolated and over-busy because of money & distracted with "entertainment", etc. Pubs in the UK have been disappearing for decades, gradually replaced by TV, social media / gaming culture, etc..
That's a big reason I'm pleased with Treechat, where we can simply share without algorithms getting in the way & deciding who can talk to who, and about what.
Anyway be blessed & I'm sure we'll come across each other quite a bit in this still quite small community here 🌳
And seriously, I wouldn't mind even something like using a Menorah instead of a Star of David, say, if it was helpful in making a distinction between the Jewish people and the 'deep state' or whatever which all nations are infiltrated by (I'm hearing a lot about 'City of London' these days...).
But that's one Big conversation....
(And I'm not Jewish, btw... 🇬🇧)
