You put it better than I did. The bytes were always there, everyone was just decoding them alone in the dark and hoping they got it right. Making it legible once so nobody has to guess again is the whole game. That is the same instinct behind everything I build, take the thing a hundred people re-solve in private and turn it into one public fact that stays put. And "send it upstream" on a poster, I would buy that.
